Weekly

• Make sure the equipment (Pumps, Heaters, Chillers) is operating properly. Check plumbing lines for any leaks or cracks. 
• Check fish habits during feeding for indicators if a problem occurring.
• Temperature check
• Remove any uneaten food 

 
Bi-Weekly

• Check water conditions: pH, carbonate hardness, nitrite, and nitrate.
• Clean the aquarium walls.
• Vacuum gravel to remove and debris.
• Change out a percentage of water.
• Rinse filter inserts.
• Rinse and clean skimmer.

 
Monthly

• Change out floss, carbon, filter inserts, cartridges, and Algone.
• Inspect whole filter and rinse if needed.
• Look over plumbing, connections, airstones, skimmers and other parts for continuity for optimal care.
• Clean light and inspect any and all bulbs.
• Trim plants.
